Please read the provisions of these Terms and Conditions of Use (GCU) carefully. By using the services of Vezita or Vezita Pro, you expressly agree to these terms and conditions.

The Vezita User is reminded that the Teleconsultation offered by the application does not allow for the management of medical emergency situations. In the event of an urgent need for medical advice, the User must use the appropriate emergency services, such as the emergency number of his country.

 

For any doubt regarding a medical condition, the User is advised to contact his or her treating physician immediately.

 

ARTICLE 1 – Definitions and Framework

  • Vezita : Free mobile app for patients, offering medical appointments, teleconsultations, and other health services.
  • Vezita Pro : Web application dedicated to healthcare professionals, accessible in the form of a subscription, offering online management of consultations, appointments, and teleconsultation services.
  • UGC : This document, which sets out the terms governing the use of Vezita and Vezita Pro.
  • Consultation : Appointment between a healthcare professional (HCP) and a patient, which can be made in person or by teleconsultation via Vezita.
  • Patient Account : Personal space on Vezita, reserved for patients to access services.
  • Elements : All content available on Vezita and Vezita Pro, including images, text, data, etc.
  • Credentials : The patient’s or healthcare professional’s login information on Vezita or Vezita Pro.
  • Data Policy : Vezita’s policy regarding the processing and protection of personal data.
  • PS (Healthcare Professional ): Doctors and other healthcare professionals registered on Vezita Pro.
  • Services : All features and services offered by Vezita and Vezita Pro.
  • Website : Vezita’s website, accessible via a specific Internet address.
  • Teleconsultation : Remote medical consultation carried out by video between a HCP and a patient on Vezita.
  • User : Any person using Vezita or Vezita Pro, who has accepted the T&Cs and read the Legal Notice.

ARTICLE 2 – Purpose of the T&Cs

These Terms and Conditions of Use detail the rules applicable to access to and use of the Vezita mobile application and the Vezita Pro web application, as well as the services offered therein. The use of Vezita and Vezita Pro is subject to prior acceptance and compliance with these T&Cs.

 

Any User who accesses Vezita or Vezita Pro undertakes to comply with these T&Cs without reservation.

 

ARTICLE 3 – Acceptance and Duration of the T&Cs

The T&Cs govern all relations between Vezita and the Users of the application and the site.

 

The unreserved acceptance of the T&Cs is mandatory and conditions access to and use of Vezita and its services. By accessing and/or using Vezita or Vezita Pro, the User acknowledges:

  • Be familiar with the operating conditions of the applications.
  • Have the technical skills necessary to access and use Vezita and Vezita Pro normally in compliance with these Terms.
  • Have read the Legal Notice.
  • Expressly and unconditionally accept these T&Cs.

ARTICLE 4 – Modification of the T&Cs

Vezita reserves the right, at any time, to make any changes to these T&Cs as it deems necessary and useful. By continuing to use Vezita or Vezita Pro after the changes come into effect, the User irrevocably accepts the modified T&Cs.

 

In case of disagreement with the modified T&Cs, the User must stop using Vezita and Vezita Pro.

 

ARTICLE 5 – Access to Vezita and Vezita Pro

Vezita and Vezita Pro are accessible to any Adult User with the legal capacity to subscribe to these T&Cs. An adult User may use Vezita and Vezita Pro for the benefit of minors under his or her responsibility, within the limits of applicable law.

  • Vezita can be accessed through mobile app stores, such as the App Store and Google Play.
  • Vezita Pro can be accessed via the dedicated website.

The User is responsible for acquiring the necessary media (hardware, software, Internet access) for the use of Vezita and Vezita Pro and must ensure their maintenance and security. The costs related to the use of the media and access to the Internet are the sole responsibility of the User.

 

Vezita is not responsible for connection issues or interruptions due to technical issues or network congestion.

 

ARTICLE 6 – General presentation of the Services

Vezita and Vezita Pro offer services to connect Healthcare Professionals and Users.

 

  • For Vezita Users (Patients):
    • Search & Book Easy : Easy-to-use user interface for finding and booking medical appointments online
    • Personal Care History : Detailed tracking of past and current appointments, accessible from a personal account.
    • Teleconsultation : Exclusive access via the mobile application to the Teleconsultation with online payment and issuance of digital prescriptions.
    • Secure Medical Document Transfer : Ability to send and receive medical documents in a secure manner.
    • Personalized Appointment Reminders: Personalized notifications for upcoming appointments, promoting proactive health management.
  • For Vezita Pro Users (Professionals):
    • Advanced Calendar : Flexible and intuitive scheduling of appointments, with daily, weekly and monthly viewing options.
    • Consultation Management : Interface to organize and monitor consultations, including the management of cancellations and postponements.
    • Integrated Teleconsultation : Video consultation functionality, adapted to different health systems, with multimedia support.
    • Patient Records Management : Secure, centralized access to medical records, treatment histories, and clinical notes.
    • Document Sharing and Electronic Prescriptions : Easy transmission of medical documents and prescriptions online.
    • Automatic Appointment Reminders: Email and SMS notifications to minimize forgetfulness and no-shows.
    • Direct Patient Communication : Built-in messaging for direct and personalized exchanges with patients.

The creation of a Patient Account on Vezita is required to access certain services.

 

ARTICLE 7 – Creation and Management of a Patient Account

7.1 Creation of the Patient Account

  • Creating a Patient Account is free of charge and is done on Vezita.
  • The User must fill in his/her personal information and accept the T&Cs.

7.2 Access and Management of the Patient Account

  • The Patient accesses his/her Account using his/her Credentials.
  • The Patient Account allows you to access dedicated services, manage appointments, and modify personal information.
  • Possibility to create a profile for a loved one under certain conditions.

7.3 Credential Management

  • Identifiers are personal and confidential.
  • The Patient is responsible for the security and use of his/her Identifiers.
  • In the event of loss or theft of the Credentials, the Patient must notify Vezita immediately.

7.4 Termination/Closure of the Patient Account

  • The Patient may request the closure of his/her Account at any time.
  • Vezita reserves the right to terminate the Account in the event of non-compliance with the T&Cs.

 

ARTICLE 8 – Search and Access to the Contact Information of a HCP

Vezita and allows Users to search for a PS according to various criteria. The information provided on the HCWs is the responsibility of the HCW, and Vezita does not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of such information.

 

ARTICLE 9 – Online appointment booking

Users can make appointments online, whether for face-to-face consultations or teleconsultations. Appointments are subject to the availability and acceptance of the HCPs. Vezita acts only as a matchmaking intermediary and is not responsible for any disagreements or problems that may arise between HCPs and Patients.

 

ARTICLE 10 – Teleconsultations

It is important to remind Users that the Teleconsultation offered by Vezita is not suitable for managing medical emergencies. In case of an emergency situation requiring immediate medical advice, it is advisable to use the appropriate emergency services.

For any questions or doubts, the User is encouraged to contact his or her doctor directly.

 

10.1 Teleconsultation Service

10.1.1 Coverage of Teleconsultation Fees

  • The User must refer to the regulations in force to understand the coverage of the costs of the Teleconsultation.

10.1.2 Conditions of access to Teleconsultation

  • Teleconsultations can be booked via Vezita.
  • Users can access Teleconsultation services with or without prior appointment, exclusively through the Vezita mobile application.

10.2 Conduct of a Teleconsultation

10.2.1 Prerequisites

  • Teleconsultation requires video transmission via the Vezita app.
  • The Patient must ensure that the service is used in a confidential location and must have the necessary computer tools and an appropriate internet connection.

10.2.2 Entering the Waiting Room

  • The Patient must update his/her information, indicate the reason for the Teleconsultation, and choose a means of payment.
  • The Patient must also give his/her explicit consent for the Teleconsultation.

10.2.3 Waiting Room

  • The PS has the freedom to accept the request for Teleconsultation, which can be immediate or scheduled for later.
  • While waiting, the Patient can share relevant documents with the HCP.

10.2.4 Conduct of the Teleconsultation

  • The responsibility for the Teleconsultation lies exclusively with the HCP and the Patient.
  • It is forbidden to record or broadcast the Teleconsultation.

10.2.5 End of Teleconsultation

  • Payment is made at the end of the Teleconsultation, in accordance with the established terms and conditions.
  • Any documents provided by the PS can be accessed via the app.


ARTICLE 11 – Access to Resources

11.1 Access to Care

  • Vezita is committed to fighting against all forms of discrimination in access to care. Any form of denial of care based on discriminatory grounds is prohibited and must be reported.

 

ARTICLE 12 – Tarification

12.1 General

  • Although access to Vezita is free for patients, they are still responsible for certain costs, such as internet access and computer equipment.

12.2 Payment for Teleconsultations

  • Payments for teleconsultations are made via the secure payment platform STRIPE. Users must agree to STRIPE’s Terms of Service before making payments.

 

ARTICLE 13 – Behaviour/Obligations of the User

13.1 General

  • The use of Vezita should be done responsibly and ethically. Users should avoid any actions that may harm the integrity of the platform or other users.

 

ARTICLE 14 – Responsibility of the User/Patient

  • Users are responsible for the security of their devices and internet connection when using Vezita and Vezita Pro.

 

ARTICLE 15 – Obligations of Vezita

15.1 Availability, Maintenance and Security

  • Vezita strives to maintain a reliable and secure service, but cannot guarantee constant or uninterrupted availability of the service.

 

ARTICLE 16 – Intellectual property

16.1 Elements of Vezita

  • All Vezita content, including text, graphics, logos, is protected by intellectual property rights and may not be used without permission.

 

ARTICLE 17 – Personal data and cookies

17.1 Cookies

  • Cookies are used to improve the user experience and must be accepted by users for optimal use of the service.

17.2 Personal data

  • Vezita is committed to protecting users’ personal data in accordance with applicable regulations.

 

ARTICLE 18 – Force majeure

  • Vezita is not responsible for any breaches of duty resulting from circumstances beyond its control.

 

ARTICLE 19 – Agreement of Proof

  • Electronic communications between Vezita and users are considered admissible legal evidence.

 

ARTICLE 20 – Severability

  • Each clause of the T&Cs is independent and the nullity of one clause does not affect the validity of the others.

 

ARTICLE 21 – Applicable law and competent courts

  • These T&Cs are governed by the laws of the country where Vezita operates. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or execution shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the country in which Vezita is established.
